Spencer Simpson | 04 December, 2017, 01:12

Per Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith, Patrick was arrested on charge of possession of marijuana, less than an ounce, which is a misdemeanor.

Stanley was arrested and charged for DUI, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and speeding, going 87 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone. He was in a vehicle with fellow teammate and receiver Jayson Stanley.

The arrest took place at 11:50 p.m. but no other details were available and Georgia officials have yet to comment. Whether Stanley gets the same punishment remains to be seen, but it doesn't appear he has been arrested during his Georgia career.

It's the third marijuana-related arrest for Patrick and the second this year. Barrow County is just west of Athens, in the direction of Atlanta. He was arrested in Barrow County on Sunday morning and booked at 1:30 a.m. on a misdemeanor charge before being issued a $1,030 bond. He was suspended from Georgia for four games and returned to play against Auburn in the regular season. With AP Photos.Georgia linebacker Natrez Patrick has been arrested on misdemeanor marijuana charge hours after starting in the Bulldogs' Southeastern Conference championship game win over Auburn.

A little over five hours after that game, one starter on that team would find himself in the back of a squad auto.
