How to Downgrade iOS 11.2 to Earlier Firmware on iPhone, iPad, iPod

Why does my iPhone keep restarting? Here's how to fix it An iOS Bug May Hit One's iPhone on December 2nd

Apple software had a rough November, and December isn't off to a good start as there's an apparent date bug causing problems for iPhone owners running the latest versions of iOS (11.1.1 or 11.1.2).

With Apple Pay Cash, iMessage users in the United States can send money to their friends or request money from others via Apple Pay. The issue seems to affect people randomly, with our iPhone X being affected and only a handful of reports across the internet on various sites and Twitter.

Apple generally issues iOS updates on a Tuesday at 1PM ET / 10AM PT, but this bug has clearly made the company push its release a lot earlier than it was potentially planning. iOS 11.2 also includes a fix for a new autocorrect issue where the word "it" to be autocorrected to "I.T" automatically.

Update your device to iOS 11.2.

Depending upon how many apps you have on your iPhone it might be worthwhile to just disable those and see if it helps.

Reddit users in /r/iphone caught on to the problem and quickly began suggesting solutions.

Users can download the 430.7MB iOS 11.2 update by navigating to Settings General Software Update. The bug was reported soon by the officials and the new update was soon released after realizing the issue.

It must be noted that the bug doesn't now seem to affect users running the iOS 11.2 beta.

Along with that, other changes in this update include Apple Pay Cash support in the U.S., which will let users send and request money from others using Apple Pay.

Today in an unusual weekend launch, Apple released iOS 11.2 to the public.

After the update installs, turn on the notifications you turned off. A few other tidbits are also included in this update.

If that's too vague for iPhone users to understand, look for workout apps, medication reminder and similar apps that require local/scheduled notifications. It offers live integration to sports channels so you can easily watch out your favourite games through this app.
