Ed Sheeran has unveiled a remix of his song "Perfect" featuring a guest appearance from Beyonce.

However, on Thursday, the British singer announced via Instagram that the hit ÷ single would be made even more "perfect" with a Beyoncé duet.

Flawless appears on Sheeran's album ÷, which dropped in March of this year, and was likewise released as one of the LP's singles.

Sheeran had been hyping the release for almost a week saying he was going to basically "Despacito" the track, but wouldn't reveal who would be featured on the remix.

Flawless is the third recent Beyoncé collaboration in a spell that has also seen her feature in a September remix of J Balvin and Willy William's "Mi Gente", and with Eminem on Walk on Water ahead of the Detroit rapper's upcoming ninth LP.

Sheeran and Beyoncé have teamed up before, notably sharing the stage at a Stevie Wonder tribute concert in 2015.

And they performed an acoustic, stripped-down rendition of "Drunk in Love" at the Global Citizen Festival in the same year.
