Vodafone India has rolled out cashback offers on purchase of select Micromax 4G smartphones, Vodafone said.

Micromax Bharat 5 is the device we are talking about.

The Micromax Bharat 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD display with no mentioning of the protective layer. The phone has been announced in two variants - 2GB RAM paired with 16GB storage and 3GB of RAM mated to a 32GB ROM - with the entry model being announced with a price tag of 5,999 while the 3GB RAM variant will retail for 7,999. Memory wise, it packs 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card up to 64GB. It is packed with 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front camera with LED flash. There are panel is where you see the most change, as it features a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the top left corner. The device is priced at Rs 5,555 and will be available via offline retailers in the country.

The biggest highlight of the phone is its massive 5,000mAh battery, which the company claims will offer 500 hrs of standby time. To avail the scheme, customers will need to get a 1GB of data pack after which they will receive 10GB of additional data every month for a total five months. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution. It has 1 GB RAM, which is disappointing when compared to the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which lets you choose between 2 GB and 3 GB RAM.
