Judge Miriam Walsh this morning said the UFC star has "done nothing but give fingers to the court" after he failed to turn up after the case was adjourned for a second time last week.

The judge said that a "bench warrant will be coming in his direction if he's not here".

The Dubliner arrived at court to accept his fine in the afternoon.

McGregor was recorded by gardaí driving at 158km/h on the N7 Naas Road at Rathcoole, Co Dublin, on March 31....

He said: "What I heard was that I tried my best to pay for it".

He was given two months to pay and could do so in instalments despite his huge cash-in from the Floyd Mayweather bout in August. After the hearing, McGregor walked outside, flanked by his lawyers and mobbed by paparazzi, hopped in his ridiculously expensive sports vehicle, rolled down the window and yelled, "Come and get me!" as the driver sped away.

The 29-year-old told the court that he had attempted to pay the original 80 euro (£70) fine but the payment failed to go through.

Solicitor Graham Kenny said McGregor was pleading guilty.

Well, recently the Irish Mirror spoke with McGregor's father, Tony McGregor, who said the rumor is "absolute nonsense". "This is absolute disrespect to the court", said Judge Walsh, according to the Irish Independent. "I am very annoyed with Mr. McGregor".

And she added: 'You can tell him about my ire in relation to the matter. McGregor posted a number of photos on social media site Instagram following the appearance, one featuring a snap of the high powered BMW sports auto he showed up to court in, with the hashtag #relaxjudge.

He spent some time in a consultation room with his solicitor and a friend before appearing in court.
