Bandai Namco's Tekken 7 was undoubtedly one of the biggest fighting games this year and is still rolling.

Final Fantasy XV protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum will be joining the fighter as downloadable content in Spring 2018.

Here's what the video description has to say: "Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV enters the TEKKEN 7 ring!"

Noctis is then seen summoning his Engine Blade to cut down a number of Tekken 7 opponents while also using magic. All in all, it seems like the guy has plenty of tools at his disposal to make him one of the most risky characters on the roster. The company says that the cutscenes in the trailer are just "promotional" meaning that players won't actually get to see Lars and Noctis go on a fishing trip.

This is certainly a very interesting addition to Tekken 7's roster, with a character from the Final Fantasy series certainly coming out of left field. He'll join the fighter sometime during Spring 2018. For fans of Final Fantasy, that crossover is happening with Final Fantasy XV's Noctis and Tekken 7. TEKKEN 7 is available for purchase now in the Americas for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs via STEAM.
