We're thinking it will debut in Detroit where we'll get a slew of all-new information related to the all-new ZR1's performance.

DUBAI - The King is returning, stronger than ever.

The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will have a 755-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged engine and a top speed, according to GM, of 210 miles an hour. Back in your driveway, it's also the most extreme-looking: An optional massive rear spoiler and wraparound ground effects generate track-smacking downforce, while multiple gaping bumper portals replace the single unit on other Corvettes. That's all from an LT5 6.2 litre direct-injected V8 - still fitted with pushrods, mind you - force-fed by an intercooled supercharger 52% larger than the one in the Z06.

Married to the engine is either a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic with steering wheel paddle shifters. This marks the first time an automatic has been offered on the coveted ZR1.

Like the ZR1 Corvettes that have come before, this will be a swansong model for the current generation of Corvette - which has been on sale since 2013. It has 13 heat exchangers in total thanks to the addition of four radiators, an opening in the carbonfibre bonnet that the entire supercharger/intercooler assembly pokes through, and a completely new design for the front fascia to make sure enough air is channelled through to that LT5 V8. Additional features, including aero packages with stanchion-mounted wings, help push the ZR1 harder onto the track for more confident handling and faster lap times.

Going back to the wings, the standard one generates up to 70 percent more downforce than the Z06's base aero package, while the available two-way-adjustable high wing grants about 60 percent more than the Z06 with the available Z07 Performance Package. It is known that the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has a top speed of 338 km/h Model is available with two versions of wing: Low Wing and High Wing. That, and the fact that an active wing would have been a packaging nightmare on the C7 led to a pair of fixed wings, as well as a clever front underwing created to balance out the additional rear downforce without making the vehicle unusable on the street. Not to forget the the suspension, which has been tuned specifically for the package, and pairs with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for added grip. The exterior gets plethora of loud colour schemes to choose including "Sebring Orange".

A further option, the "Sebring Orange Design Package", adds orange accents as well as orange seat belts and stitching combined with the Sebring Orange Tintcoat paint.
