This app was first listed on Google Play Store as an unreleased app and you had to have an early access invitation in order to get the app.

Last year Google tested a Play Store feature that suggested deleting infrequently used apps to create storage space. Android Police notes that Google ran an early access programme to pilot the app on specific devices. OEMs have made it a point to include custom file managers in their ROMs, but with Android 4.4 KitKat, the Documents provider gained basic file management capabilities. This new file management solution is one that Google seems to be pretty excited about. The top of the "Storage" feed prominently lists how much space is on your device.

Recognize and help you remove the spam & duplicate images. If you have downloaded a lot of files, you can go to the Storage tab and delete those files. Most fake apps have fake icons, so you should be cautious on that part. To send a file, the user needs to ask the friend to open the app and tap on a Receive button. It also has a handy file send/receive feature that can be done with another nearby phone even if you don't have a data connection. The app itself is 5.41MB, which means it is not as big as other file sharing apps like Xender.

The Files Go app has a convenient interface that comes with two tabs - Storage and Files.

Talking about the Files Go app, it's a simple file manager that aims to help you take care of the files stored on your phone and tell you about which files are taking up most of the space. The app is no longer available as the program is full. The bad news, is that there is no official release date yet for it to hit Google Play Store. Google has enforced software to pinpoint and block malicious apps running on Android gadgets and checking developers' identities as well as preventing those with a history of violation.
