And actress Uma Thurman bravely added her voice to the conversation in a now-viral interview she did with Access Hollywood in mid-October. But she did promise that when she feels "less angry" she'll say what she has to say about Weinstein and the nuclear fallout since.

At an event for her new work A Parisian Woman this weekend, Uma Thurman was asked by reporters about her take on all the sexual harassment and sexual assault scandals that have popped up the last few weeks.

Quentin Tarantino's movies "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2" were made by Weinstein's Miramax, and all starred Thurman. The actress tweeted Saturday to Thurman: "May peace be with you and your soul". We need your strong voice, it truly is commanding'.

"I don't have a tidy soundbite for you", she said.

"I have had some experiences and, I have to say, since this has all come out there really hasn't been one woman that I've talked to who hasn't had an experience".

It's been almost three weeks since Thurman's original comment and the actress - who's starring in "House of Cards" creator Beau Willimon's "The Parisian Woman" on Broadway - has yet to issue a follow-up statement.

Tarantino previously revealed he had known about Weinsteins behaviour for years after his then-girlfriend Mira Sorvino told him she had an alleged incident with the producer. “There was more to it than just the normal rumours, the normal gossip. It wasn't secondhand. I knew he did a couple of these things'.

The number of women coming forward with harassment and assault allegations against men in power in Hollywood is growing each day.
