Jimmy Fallon Cancels Friday Tonight Show Taping Due To Family Medical Issue

The 43-year-old comedian seemed to be keeping up the faith after the late night host had to cancel a Friday taping of the show after learning his mom was in the hospital.
'Jimmy was at his mother's bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. According to a source close to the show, Fallon's mom is ill and has been hospitalized.
"On behalf of everyone at NBC, we extend our deepest condolences to Jimmy and all his family at this time of enormous loss", NBC said in a statement.
We reached out to Fallon's team.no word back so far.
'She was a nun for about a month, but then she was like, 'You know what? "When did 'Sound of Music" come out? "I think there was like a thing where everyone wanted to be a nun", Jimmy joked.
Fallon has hosted "The Tonight Show" since 2013. The school used the money for its television studio and computer video production courses, along with new music equipment, cameras, computers and software.
