An episode of "Carpool Karaoke" starring former Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has been released, almost three months after he died.

Bennington, the group's lead singer was found dead on July 20, and this episode was filmed July 14.

The video was released with the blessing of his family, and features himself and band mates Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn being hosted by comedian Ken Jeong.

After meeting Jeong, the group, with Bennington behind the wheel, sings along to songs like OutKast's "Hey Ya!", Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", and the band's own songs "Numb" and "In the End". In the opening moments, Jeong jokes with the group about joining them, and Bennington laughed that they "would see", about letting him join. Bennington also shares how he came up with his trademark scream, and talks about his kids. Bennington had recorded the episode of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke with his bandmates and Community star Ken Jeong one week earlier.

Bennington died on July 20 at the age of 41. "My daughters love music, and they want to learn how to play instruments". Because Lilly is really curious, asking 'Daddy how do you write songs?

Bennington goes on to bring up his six children during the episode.

The sold-out tribute concert will take place on October 27 at Hollywood Bowl in California.

The episode was shared on Linkin Park's Facebook page on Thursday, and a special dedication to the late musician ran at the beginning.
