Brady says his shoulder is OK

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed practice on Tuesday, and he is reportedly dealing with an injury to his left shoulder. According to Michael Giardi of NBC Sports Boston, Brady re-aggravated a shoulder injury that he originally hurt against the Panthers on October 1. They'll release their first practice report later on Wednesday, which should shed a little more light on Brady's ailment - or at least his level of participation in Wednesday's practice.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Brady had suffered an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder and that the future Hall of Fame quarterback did not participate in practice on Tuesday. The 16 sacks are more than his total for the entire 2016 season.

Brady, who's 40 years old, certainly hasn't lost a step, and it'd be surprising if the injury to his non-throwing shoulder results in any on-field struggles.

One way to do that would be to put pressure on Brady like the Panthers, and every other team this season, did. Against the Panthers, he was sacked three times and hit seven times.

He's also been sacked 16 times, more than in all 12 games he played in past year.
