"Only one thing will work" with North Korea

Donald Trump Issues Yet Another Creepily Ominous Message That Hints at War Fighting talk: Donald Trump has said that “only one thing will work” to solve North Korea

On Oct. 8, the Korean Central News Agency released photos of the second plenary session of the seventh Central Committee Meeting of the Workers' Party of Korea in Pyongyang. After lamenting that the North Korean government has been making "fools of US negotiators for 25 years", the president wrote on Saturday, "Sorry, but only one thing will work!". However, Trump stated that these won't work now as Kim Jong-Un has violated these agreements even before the ink ran dry. Hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, making fools of US negotiators.

"There is one thing the US Army can do and that is you have got to be ready to ensure that we have military options that our President can employ if needed", Mattis said in a speech at an annual US Army conference.

It's no secret that #Donald Trump often makes comments that come off as reckless or offensive to many people. Trump, and then the White House, refused to elaborate on what exactly the president meant. "You'll figure that out pretty soon", he replied. Reuters said Trump's remarks "seemed to be a further suggestion that military action was on his mind", drawing connections between them and previous comments made on October 5.

Earlier, he had indicated the possibility of military action against Pyongyang, remarking unprompted at a dinner with U.S. military leaders last week that the setting was the "calm before the storm", another remark which he has not shed light on. "Maybe it's the calm before the storm". As of press time, North Korea has not responded to Trump's tweet, thought they have done so in the past. Some are seeing his approach as a roundabout way of pressuring Beijing into taking more definite action. Morozov, who was accompanied by two other lawmakers on his visit, said his remarks were based on an explanation from North Korean officials. "Maybe now, nearly more than any other time, we need a great military".

Tillerson is not the only top United States official who has been caught saying basically the opposite of what Trump has been tweeting. While it's unknown what the future holds between the United States and North Korea, only time will tell if it's something to seriously worry about.

But Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy wants Trump to "stop doing hurtful things to the country's national security, like telling the North Koreans that there is no diplomatic path for them to give up nuclear weapons".
