"If it takes nine seasons, I want that McNugget Szechuan sauce".

Many eager "Rick & Morty" fans and interested foodies who hoped to get their hands on the limited edition dipping sauce were met with extremely long lines at locations around the country, which meant supplies ran out pretty quickly.

The world-wide restaurant chain announced on social media that they were "humbled" by the response for the sauce and is wasn't "cool" to have such a limited supply.

After its Szechuan sauce misstep, McDonald's is still trying to make things schwifty in here, and is promising sauce for everyone in the future.

If you're not among the few who scored some of McDonald's rare Szechuan sauce, you may be in luck.

But ever since the mention of the now non-existent sauce in Rick and Morty, fans have been demanding for it to come back.

It was not necessary any more to that Mcdonald's is riding the wave and taking advantage of this advertising welcome.

McDonald's also promises to have the sauce available at more restaurants next time around.

Eight McDonald's locations in MI are giving limited edition Szechuan sauce with orders of Buttermilk Crispy Tenders.

After Saturday's blowup, McDonald's has decided to make it better. Between the costumes, the memes and the cross-state travel, you, the fans, showed us what you got.

The fast food chain issued an apology Sunday, admitting the "super-limited batch, though well-intentioned, clearly wasn't near enough to meet that demand".

McDonald's teased a limited rerelease of the McNugget sauce for one day only, and some of these dorks reportedly drove for hours to participating locations to get some. In at least one instance, the police were called to deal with an angry crowd chanting "We want sauce". "We're gonna make this right", the message said.

Justin Roiland, left, with "Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon, expressed his nostaglic love for McDonald's "Mulan" dipping sauce through an episode that aired last April.
