New genetic test could help predict how a woman will likely develop breast cancer.

The majority of women in the study had surgery - either a lumpectomy that removes malignant tissue while sparing the rest of the breast or a mastectomy that removes the entire breast. The R.E.D. Rose Program addresses the need in our community for quality breast cancer screenings and treatment services for those who are uninsured or underinsured.

Women who had a double mastectomy with reconstruction had almost 8 times the risk of missing more than a month of work, than those who had a lumpectomy. The team encourages anyone with worries relating to cancer to stop by, whether they are living with cancer or care for someone who is. More than 70% of the cases present in advanced stage accounting for poor survival and high mortality.

The test results can be combined with information on breast density, factors such as age the woman gave birth - all of which can pinpoint percentage risks of developing breast cancer within 10 years, and throughout their lifetime.

The feeling of not being able to work and isolation can be devastating for most patients and survivors, re-entering employment is crucial to returning back to normality and getting their life back.

Numerous women who had originally been classified by doctors as being in the high-risk category were subsequently reclassified to a lower risk category - where preventative breast-removal surgery is not recommended.

"Women should start by figuring out what treatment has the best chance of curing their cancer", Hassett, who wasn't involved in the study, said by email.

29-percent of women who missed more than a month of work lost more than $5,000 in income. All treatments are individualized for what that particular patient needs. Dr Vineeta Goel, associate director and head radiation oncology said that it is extremely important to raise awareness about avoidable cancer risks and the importance of early detection.

Cowboys not seeking revenge but hope to stop cursing the Packers Cowboys not seeking revenge but hope to stop cursing the Packers Yes, I think Rodgers will give this team all sorts of problems but I'm betting on the Cowboys getting back into gear offensively. This one could have an impact later on as well as each team hopes to be in the mix for a playoff spot at the end of the season.
