Star Wars 8: Lucasfilm confirms when The Last Jedi trailer will drop

Fans will know that 2015's Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens ended with a moving scene of Rey finding Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, on a rocky outcrop in the middle of a forbidding ocean.

Yes, in a brilliant example of corporate synergy, ESPN's Monday Night Football will show the latest trailer promoting the latest Star Wars flick, a move which will surely help boost ratings for the venerable icon.

In the video posted on Twitter, Rey is seen practicing with a light saber and getting quite good at it.

This is the second time Disney has used ESPN's National Football League showcase to promote a Star Wars movie to an audience that might not normally follow such marketing.
