Bradford reported Friday morning to the team's medical personnel that he was feeling fairly pronounced pain in his knee, a day after there was optimism expressed by Zimmer that the quarterback was feeling better and had a chance of playing against Tampa Bay.

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook carries the ball during the first quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on September 24, 2017. With the Buccaneers trailing 14-3 in the second quarter, Winston drove Tampa Bay into scoring position and then took a shot at the end zone in DeSean Jackson's direction. On third-and-three from the Vikings' 41, Keenum threw to Diggs on the left sideline. Diggs caught passes for 47 and 59 yards, the two longest of his career. The Tampa defense looked pretty solid in a 29-7 win over the Chicago Bears last week, picking off two passes and holding the Bears to just 20 yards rushing. He also had five reception for 72 yards.

In place of Sam Bradford, Keenum impressed, completing 25 of 33 passes for 369 yards and 3 TDs to improve to 3-0 as a starter vs. the Bucs. Over the years, the veteran quarterback compiled some of his best National Football League starts against the Bucs' defense, a trend that continued in Week 3. Bradford did not play in the Vikings 26-9 loss to Pittsburgh last week, and told reporters that his status for the game against Tampa Bay will depend on how his knee responds during the week. They converted only one of six third downs. His totals: 53 for 76 (69.7 percent) for 793 yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception with three sacks.

Reedy gave the Bucs a nice start for the next drive by returning the kickoff 50 yards to the Minnesota 46. Those two also hooked up to finish the drive, with Brate leaping to catch a 15-yard touchdown pass and holding on despite a hit from safety Andrew Sendejo that left him wobbly as he tried to stand back up.

Tampa Bay's explosive group of weapons have little impact against the Vikings' defense on Sunday.
