Zlatan Ibrahimovic Reportedly Could Make Manchester United Return in November It's a hamstring injury, but

Jose Mourinho is uncertain about the severity of Paul Pogba's hamstring injury but has no doubt that Manchester United have the midfield strength to cope without him.

"We know that, for a few matches, I don't know how many, but I expect we are to play without Pogba for a few matches".

The Express report Mourinho said: "Luke Shaw is not injured anymore so is a question of form, is a question of option".

"He's not playing this weekend".

The Sun claims Mourinho has been left "furious" by United's £89million record signing, who is being blamed for '"ignoring medical advice" over his long-standing hamstring problem.

"I just know that it's a muscular injury, he's out for the weekend match, that's the only match I'm thinking about".

Pogba is set to miss United's league games against Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace, plus next Wednesday's third-round League Cup tie against Burton and the Champions League trip to CSKA Moscow on September 27.

Herrera started the game against Stoke on Saturday, but Mourinho will need to rely once again on the former Athletic Bilbao player in the coming weeks.

"We lost important players last season at crucial moments, and we were not crying or getting an excuse". Wayne Rooney will return for the first time since returning to the Toffees, while Mourinho will look to keep Manchester United at the top of the Premier League following a rampant start to the season with 10 points from a possible 12.

Mourinho had more to be pleased about when Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score on his Champions League debut, but the Portuguese coach had a word of caution for his players at the final whistle.

The Spanish star was one of the Special One's most important players a year ago as they won two trophies, earning the praise of his manager and teammates alike and even muted as a potential successor to Wayne Rooney as club captain.
