You can now synchronize music across all of your Amazon Echo devices

Pensioners in adult social care will be given Amazon Echos in their homes so the devices can remind them when to take their medication. Now, we don't know for sure that an Amazon Echo refresh is coming, but it sure would make sense. The new feature is now limited to US, UK, and German residents.

Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Show smart speakers can now synchronize to play your favorite music from Amazon Music, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and Pandora.

To activate, consumers create and name groups in the Alexa app for two or more devices, and then direct Alexa to play music to that group. Just ask, "Alexa, play wake up music". But there's a caveat: The multi-room music feature is only available in three countries at the moment: the United States, the UK and Germany.

Students can get in on Amazon Music's streaming service on the low, as the e-commerce giant offers an insane price cut for those heading back to school! The tools will be available to developers "early next year".

If you own more than one of Amazon's Echo speakers, you can now sync them up so they are playing the same song in multiple rooms.

"This has been a close collaboration from the beginning as we've worked together to combine the magic of Alexa with the seamless multi-room audio capabilities that Sonos pioneered", said said Antoine Leblond, VP of Software, Sonos.

Now if you're like me and you enjoy the ease of use that multi-room audio support provides - but would like to utilize it with better speakers, like Sonos for example - well you shouldn't have to wait much longer. Just group them through the company'sAlexa app, and you'll be able to playback music through multiple speakers at once, without having to set up a complicated system. "Listening to great music on Samsung speakers has never been easier". The APIs are now available in developer preview.
