Apple iPhone 8 Trying Too Hard To Not Be Galaxy S8

Apple Inc. augmented reality push Apple's new iPhone is under production now!

For the past few years we've expected Apple to put an OLED screen in the iPhone, and now the Sharp CEO, Jeng-wu Tai, has pretty much confirmed the iPhone 8 (7s) will have one. Expectations are that the 7s and 7s Plus would feature minor improvements over the existing smartphone, while the iPhone 8 would offer the bulk of innovations. To sort out the nonsense from the relatively likely, we've sifted through all the latest iPhone 8 rumours, and rounded up the ones you need to know about.

Before Apple initiates mass production in the middle of September, the iPhone 8 is expected to undergo product verification test this August.

The iPhone will be celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, and Apple is doing everything to make it memorable for its fans. The front portion of the device is not surprisingly different to that of the iPhone 8, which will come with an OLED display, stacked sensors and near bezel-less look.

The next major issue is said to be faced by Apple is the supply chain issue. The device is believed to feature significant changes such as support for wireless charging, iris scanning support, enhanced HDR and more.

Apple has, in recent history, announced new iPhone models at a special event and then began taking orders for the new phones in subsequent weeks.

The uncovered code of the firmware also suggested previously that the iPhone 8 will scan the user's face even when the device is flat on the surface. Some reports also state that Apple may ditch the Touch ID system completely and introduce a more powerful, Face ID system. Independently, another report emphasizes bolster for remote charging on the iPhone 8, while a Foxconn official is said to have recommended the handset won't come in shoddy.

With this latest confirmation, iPhone 8 together with the two more new iPhones will be unveiled and presented to the consumer this September like the company's usual launching dates for their devices. One can also notice the vertically-aligned dual-rear camera and the pre-dominant apple logo at the back. This design decision has been heavily rumored, as it allows Apple to adopt an all-screen front aesthetic, similar to what everyone has seen from the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 earlier this year.

By parsing the leaked code, he's discovered evidence of a home button on the iPhone 8 that resizes within a "periphery area", possibly located towards the bottom of the display.
