OnePlus has announced that its established Soft Gold colour will be gracing the new OnePlus 5 flagship.however, it will be a Limited Edition variant; you'll only be able to buy it for a limited time and it will only available in one storage/RAM configuration. The Soft Gold color variant of the OnePlus 5 will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device will also go on sale on the OnePlus store at 12 AM on August 9. The company has made a decision to offer this color option with the OnePlus 5 after the popularity of the Soft Gold OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The new color option sits against Midnight Black and Slate Grey variants. The 8 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 37,999.

OnePlus today introduced another color option for its reigning flagship killer, 5, in India. The phone was already being sold in the two color options - Slate Grey and Midnight Black. The steps start with a visit to a diamond cutter for the aluminum alloy. The surface is then sandblasted and polished with intense precision. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled Adreno 540 GPU. Keep in mind that the OnePlus 5 does not support expandable storage via microSD cards. The highlight of the phone is of course the iPhone-like dual camera setup that OnePlus claims can provide 2X lossless zoom. For selfies, It comes with a 16 Megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor front camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS / A-GPS and USB Type-C (v2.0). It runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the Oxygen OS laid on top.

The Soft Gold shade looks similar to its predecessors and will probably appeal to those who like having a white and gold combo rather than black on black.
