The amount of leaks that we have seen in the last couple of days about the upcoming Samsung flagship, we pretty much now have a fair idea of what Galaxy Note 8 will bring to the table. Having been the subject of countless leaks itself, the Note 8 will finally see the light of day on August 23rd in NYC, where Samsung will host an Unpacked event to reveal the phone. Generally though, a launch date isn't the same time in which the device itself can be purchased.

Likewise, in its camera department, Galaxy Note 8 will boast an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f1.7 aperture, while the rear panel of the device will host a dual camera set-up.

The latest image presented by Slashleaks reveals two batteries, both rated at 3,300mAh and both of them are expected to be presented in two separate Galaxy Note 8 units. Samsung will use the same OLED Infinity display on the Note 8, though there will be a few minor changes. It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will also be known as Cruiser.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be the rugged version of company's S8 flagship smartphone. Probably the iPhone 8. This could have been an ample opportunity to grow the market share of the Note line.

A source has leaked the Galaxy Note 8 release date for South Korea, and likely also for the rest of the world. The codename SM-G888N0 - and the first bit we can gather from this is the N0, which always refers to the market in which the device is meant to launch, in this case South Korea. Samsung has little advantage over Apple's phone in terms of design. Just like its stylus S Pen, emblematic accessory of the Note range. Samsung gingerly bumped the Galaxy Note 5 (and Galaxy S6 Edge+) launch from early September to mid-August. With the upcoming Note, the company is looking to bounce back from the losses incurred from the disastrous Note 7 released previous year, which had reported battery fires that prompted Samsung to recall the product altogether. Samsung used a similar design for the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge.

The original Galaxy Note was unveiled September 1, 2011, during IFA, and released in October 2011.
