"Gender is not fluid; it's ordained by God", he told his 121,000 followers.

Counting On star Jill Duggar's husband Derick Dillard is now under fire for criticizing 16-year-old transgender reality TV star Jazz Jennings and the premise of her I Am Jazz TLC reality show.

"I want to be clear".

In a statement to USA TODAY issued by VP of Publicity, Shannon Llanes, the network said, "Derick Dillard's personal statement does not represent the views of TLC".

"Every day I experience cyber-bullying, but I keep sharing my story", she wrote on Thursday, August 3.

Dillard later tweeted, "I have nothing against him". Fans think it is a damage control as Derick and Jill continue to receive criticisms.

Dillard tried to defend his statement with another tweet, in which he fanned the flames of the controversy he just started by referring to Jennings by the wrong pronoun, "him". "I only have issue with the words and definitions being propagated here", Dillard replied on Twitter.

While many shamed Derick (who has yet to apologize), others were quick to place blame on TLC for not intervening.

Another Twitter user wrote: 'Very hypocritical of your family to profit from a network which airs content against your beliefs. He re-tweeted the advertisement for the series, saying the reality show doesn't make sense because it follows "a non-reality".

"He's a grown man attacking a child", read another tweet. Four of his victims were his sisters, including Jill.

That scandal led to TLC pulling the Duggar's original reality show, "19 Kids and Counting" off the air back in 2015, and replacing it with 'I Am Jazz'.

"Right, he's OK with Josh molesting his wife but trans gender not ok??"

On Friday, Dillard tweeted again.
