There was a final round of face-to-face negotiations between Cricket Australia Chief Executive James Sutherland and his Australian Cricket Association counterpart Alistair Nicholson here on Thursday.

The camp at port city (Chittagong) is expected to be lively with the cricketers are expected to come up with a more determined approach after the long standing pay dispute between players and Cricket Australia reached a resolution on Thursday.

But even if the disagreement is resolved, former captain Michael Clarke said on Sunday he feared things would never be the same between CA and the players.

The ACA had vowed no player would make themselves available for selection until the new MOU was signed.

Warner tweeted, "Great outcome to retain the revenue share for all players now and in the future while supporting the games grassroots".

CA's push to dismantle the player payment system, which had been in place for 20 years, was the main sticking point in negotiations. I think I can speak for Alistair when I say that both parties acknowledge and regret that, and now it's very much up to us to put that behind us.

"Great to get a deal done!" A limited-overs series in India was scheduled after that, and before the Ashes series starts in Brisbane in November.

However, part of the new agreement will see players receive a forecasted 27.5 per cent of revenue, thought to be worth AUD$459 million (£275 million/$364million/€307 million). As custodians of the game, Cricket Australia is responsible to seek change wherever it's needed rather than just putting issues into the too hard basket. Relationships within the game have been tested, and I know that's been a bit of a turn-off for some fans. We are restoring certainty and beginning to fix relationships, especially with the fans.

"We will conduct a player vote in the next 24 hours but expect it to come back positive".

"Very good because none of us from our current team has the experience of playing a Test against Australia, so it will be a new experience for all of us and everyone is excited I am sure". "But we are focusing to look at our own strength rather than thinking about our opponents", said the former skipper, who recently had his contract extended by the BCB for another year after completing his tenure that ran till June 2017.
