We have a close-up look at Captain Marvel's villains, news on what DC's Doomsday Clock could have been, news on the Watchmen series, and more. Personally, I think Doug Jones was absolutely ideal at playing Abe, but even with his natural ability to play otherworldly characters, director Neil Marshall might want to cast someone else in the role to make sure to everyone that this movie is in fact, a reboot.

Guillermo del Toro, the director of the first two Hellboy films, tried for years to get a third film made; however, he could not get a studio to commit to the necessary budget. A sequel - Hellboy: The Golden Army - followed in 2008 with the same main cast members.

Ian McShane will play Professor Broom in the upcoming "Hellboy" reboot, THR reports. The project is aiming to start shooting in September, with Neil Marshall set to direct. The film grossed a combined $260 million at the global box-office from budgets running to around $150 million.

Not much is known about Rise of the Blood Queen yet, but it will involve Hellboy dealing with a medieval sorceress seeking to destroy humankind. Well, technically speaking, Hurt is irreplaceable, but if you had to find someone to fill his shoes, you could definitely do worse than actor Ian McShane.

The Hellboy casting keeps the actor in the Lionsgate family as the studio is also behind the Wick franchise and owns Starz, the maker of American Gods. We certainly think so.

There's now no release date yet for Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, but if they start filming in September, the movie could conceivably be released in late 2018 or early 2019.
