The benchmarked smartphone, presumably Nokia 2, carries the codemame "Unknown Heart" and appears to be running on Android 7.1.1.

There is little doubt regarding the leaked phone on FCC being a new Nokia 3310 variant. More details on this budget Nokia smartphone have emerged today, thanks to GeekBench listings.

There is no launch date set for Nokia 2, however, the company is planning to introduce the Nokia 8 on August 16.

The company past year licensed its devices brand to HMD Global, which is led by ex-Nokia executives and backed by Chinese electronics giant Foxconn. It would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The Nokia 6 has a 5.5 inch full HD screen with an aluminium body, dual speakers and is powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor. As per the leaked render, the upcoming Nokia 2 is expected to feature a display much smaller than the Nokia 3. According to leaks Nokia 8 will be packed with 4GB of huge RAM and with an internal storage of 64GB.

Coming to the camera specifications of Nokia 8, it is clearly seen in the recently leaked images of Nokia 8 that it will come up with a dual rear camera of 13 megapixels each with Carl Zeiss branding.

It is rumored that the new Nokia 8 will come with the following specs, a dual-camera system with 13-megapixel sensors and Carl Zeiss optics.

Look familiar? After 17 years since it first launched the Nokia 3310 has returned with a few extra bells and whistles.

As per the popular leakster on Twitter, the new Nokia 8 is expected to come in Blue, Silver and Gold color variants.

Partnering closely with Google, Ms Edge said that the new Nokia smartphones will run faster than other smartphones on the market.
