It also features the functionality of the Moto Mods feature.

However, Motorola does not appear to want to give up on its Moto Mods too soon, and is hoping a tweaked design of the Moto Z2 Force will make the mods more appealing.

The Moto Z2 Force launches in August, but interested customers can preorder one right now. However, the overall design is slimmer and its the hardware inside, along with Motorola's first dual camera module that's the highlight here. The smartphone comes with a shatterproof display and features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. So, we believe that the listing was for Moto X4 (XT1789) It packs octa-core Snapdragon 660 clocked at 2.21GHz. The phone comes out in two variants, one featuring 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage, another variant offers better specifications: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage space. We don't know yet how much the Motorola Moto X4 will cost, unfortunately. Both sport Sony IMX386 sensors with 1.25-micron pixels, and an f/2.0 aperture. The Z2 Force also has laser AF, phase detection but no mention of optical image stabilisation.

Pricing for the Moto Z2 Force Edition is $799.99 directly from Motorola, or at reduced prices from individual carriers. Just like the leaks suggested it has a dual camera set up at the rear side and sports a shatter proof display.

The two phones run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and will certainly receive the Android O update when it becomes available.

Moto announced the phone at a NY press event, and confirmed that it will be coming to the United Kingdom in due course.

As an external accessory, the company also revealed 360 Camera Moto Mod at $299.

These mods range from 360 camera to projector and from speaker to extra battery. It only has a 2,730 mAh, against the Moto Z Force's 3,500 mAh capacity.

At this point, it seems that the handset will only become available in one color option: Fine Gold. however, this could change, even after the release of the smartphone. The Moto Z2 Play, which earnt a splendid 8.5/10 in our official review, was launched in June for Rs 28,999 and is available from Flipkart as well as offline stores.
