According to reports today in United Kingdom tabloids, Tottenham Hotspur could be about to take Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho to White Hart Lane in a bid to speed up defender Kyle Walker's transfer to Manchester City, AOIFootball.com can report.

The 20-year-old is attracting plenty of interest this summer after being allowed to leave City, with European giants Monaco and Borussia Dortmund also said to be tracking him.

Tottenham now hope that by offering £20m for Iheanacho, they could land themselves an exciting young striker whilst also speeding up the process to offload Walker to the Etihad Stadium, according to The Sun.

The report suggests that Spurs could consider snapping up Iheanacho in a player-plus-cash deal involving Walker.

The clubs have settled on a fee of £25m for the Nigerian global.

Amid the transfer speculation, Iheanacho admitted earlier this month he was not happy with how last season panned out at City.

And, according to the aforementioned report from Sky Sports, it is Craig Shakespeare's Leicester who have won the race for the in-demand goalscorer, with the Foxes having "agreed a deal in principle" with Manchester City this evening.

But after a disappointing season in which the former CR Belouizdad striker scored just eight goals, Leicester are reportedly looking to cut their loses and move for the precocious Man City forward.
