A Colombian man has been arrested for threatening to attack a concert by Ariana Grande, just weeks after the United States singer's performance in Manchester was decimated by a terrorist atrocity. And now, weeks after the horrific event in Manchester, it appears that the pop star has had to deal with another potential attack at one of her tour stops.

The threats were made in Arabic and indicated that "a situation of danger or an attack" could occur at the concert, said police spokesman Walter Espinoza.

The threat comes nearly two months after a 22-year-old man detonated a homemade bomb at the exit of the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, shortly after a Grande concert.

Caicedo Lopez was described as having no police record in Costa Rica.

Security has been tightened at Grande's concerts since the attack at one of her Manchester shows and fans underwent three security checks for Sunday's gig.

The suspect made the threats online about the concert in Alajuela, Costa Rica - which went ahead as scheduled on Sunday.

"I love you, Costa Rica", Grande captioned an image from her show in an Instagram post. The brunette beauty paid tribute to Saffie last week on what would have been her ninth birthday.

The family of Roussos also shared memories of the girl that day.

"We didn't want to just let her birthday pass", said her father. "Because life will never be the same".
