The driver said he "didn't know" he had a auto stuck under his truck.

After this Nissan and truck collided Wednesday, April 19, 2017, on the northbound 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass, the truck dragged the vehicle behind it for a few miles before another motorist filming it with his cell phone flagged down the truck's driver. The truck driver seemed oblivious to the plight of the auto behind him, and said he did not know there was another auto attached to his vehicle, even though he had dragged it for about four miles.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. a red Nissan four-door sedan rear-ended a big rig, according to the California Highway Patrol incident website.

Horns honk in the background as the truck finally comes to a stop in lanes.

"He's not stopping", Steimke said.

"I didn't know it", the driver responds.

'What do you mean you didn't know it dude?' a surprised Steimke asked.

Steimke then gets out of his vehicle and walks up to the truck driver.

Steimke told the trucker that he needed to get out of the big rig before walking to check on the driver of the Nissan.

The truck, which was labeled Mike Lowrie Transport of Dixon, outside Sacramento, was hauling two containers labeled Grimway Farms.
