One police department was able to see humor in 4/20 day today.

A photo of a Minnesota police department's "undercover 4/20 operations" went viral after being shared on social media Thursday.

- Police in Wyoming, Minnesota have set up the some "discreet" 420 traps to catch their weed suspects.

Undercover #420 operations are in place.

While the tweet is generating plenty of chuckles and more than a few gut-busting comments, Wyoming Police admit there is a serious side to the issue, as well.

In a follow-up tweet, the police department said: "All jokes aside, substance abuse is a real issue".

The tweet was posted early in the morning of April 20, and had been retweeted and liked more than 50,000 times before noon.

The department received similar attention previous year when its Twitter post was of "munchies" being used as a trap under a cardboard box propped up with a stick.

The department also offered help and resources to those struggling with chemical abuse issues, and assured that jail time will not await those seeking help. After showing off their wildly popular pothead trap on Facebook past year.
