10 wild new revelations about Hillary Clinton's doomed campaign

Not Released "You need to concede" President Obama apparently told Clinton over the phone on the night of Nov. 8

A new book about the inner-workings of Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign quotes the former Secretary of State as saying she doesn't plan to run for political office again.

Hillary Clinton annoyed many Democrats when she turned her campaign to the left and was unable to persuade voters to elect her president, Jonathan Allen, co-author of "Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign", told Newsmax TV on Tuesday. "At last, Clinton said, 'Give me the phone.' And then the first woman who was going to be president got her opponent on the line and said two words she never expected to say: 'Congratulations, Donald'".

Minutes later Mrs Clinton called Mr Trump and suppressed "the anger that touched every nerve in her body" as she conceded.

He also crosses swords with campaign chairman John Podesta, who is twice his age and steeped in official Washington, an intimate advisor to both Clintons and President Obama.

"Mr. President", she said, "I'm sorry".

When the announcement came that Trump had won, most of the news was centered around that and what a Trump-led America would look like.

According to Parnes and Allen, the Clinton campaign reached out to the Sanders team in September 2016 after she had defeated Sanders in the Democratic Primary under dubious circumstances.

"It's a four-month sprint to the end, and it will go quickly", Obama reportedly told Clinton.

They saw and heard far more than most of us, exploring deep inside "Clintonworld" in search of the real story.

A dejected and distraught Hillary Clinton wanted to walk out and congratulate the newly anointed dictator-in-chief Vladimir TrumPutin on his 2016 election victory, but her top aide Jake Sullivan wouldn't hear of it. Then, too, we know that Hillary's 2008 campaign was an organizational disaster from start to finish, reflecting her own disorderly mind, arrogant manner, and presumptuous character.

"I'll be supportive of the country's success and that means your success as president", she reportedly said. The Clinton aides askedSanders to useher campaign slogan, "I'm with her".

When Trump eventually came on the line Clinton conceded graciously.

As she saw it, "other people will criticize him".

"She struggled with the question of why Obama hadn't done more to apprise the public that the Russians had gone way beyond what had been reported [in influencing the presidential election]", the authors continue.
