TWO new games revealed ahead of Nintendo Direct

The tweet suggests that most of the information about this Nintendo Direct will focus on ARMS and Splatoon 2, a little bit more than a week after the latest Global Testfire server stress test event.

Nintendo is set to reveal two Nintendo Switch exclusive games during its Direct conference.

Now that Nintendo is through that hard launch period for a new piece of hardware, it can focus on other areas of the ecosystem including making lots of must-have first-party games. The presentation will air in all three regions, which means we could see a new game or two revealed, as well!

The leak comes just hours before the next Nintendo Direct live stream, where the company might have planned to announce the bundle.

Along with Hey! Pikmin, and adorable new Pikmin amiibo featuring the tiny little characters will launch alongside the new game. The release of Mario Kart 8 Delxue could give us our first Switch console bundle, according to a listing on the Russian Nintendo store.

No release date is given for the side-scrolling shooter, but we can't imagine it's that far off. Unlike the stationary Wii U, the portable Switch can be brought on-the-go and linked up with other Switches, allowing you to engage in battle with friends in the same room or around the world.

Nintendo used to make its online services free so users can play against each other over the Internet but when the new service launches in the fall users will have to pay to play. At the time, the game didn't have an official title, but Nintendo's Bill Trinen described the game as "designed with action in mind".

Splatoon 2 also introduces local multiplayer to the series.

Nintendo of America tweeted recently that there will be a new Direct on April 12. ARMS is a new title for Nintendo, but the first thoughts have been positive.
