Her appetite has greatly improved from the previous day and staff of Animal Adventure Park now says that April the giraffe has her appetite back.

The park posted a photo of April's udder in order to show the mother's mammary development. "This much development truly suggests calving in the near future".

They also reminded viewers that "patience is a virtue" and said they expected a calf sooner than this, but "that is all part of the journey".

All remains as reported earlier.

The changes are apparent to viewers watching April's livestream camera feed.

"We are waiting for increased pacing to indicate an active labor situation has begun, in addition to pushing/contractions", the zoo said in a Facebook update.

However, the calf has yet to arrive, but the zoo did note "significant movement from the calf during observation times".

"I know twin calves are rare but the size of her belly keeps me in awe", wrote one Facebook fan. April's vet says he's not concerned by the fact that April has not yet given birth, and she will simply have her baby when she is ready. April, who's 15 years old, is having the baby with Oliver, a 5-year-old giraffe, according to Animal Adventure. Oliver and April have both been enjoying their new enrichment gift.

Animal Adventure Park began streaming on February 23 on YouTube showing April preparing to give birth, drawing worldwide attraction.

Watch the live stream below. Labor lasts anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Even a few weeks later, roughly 100,000 people appear to be tuning into YouTube to check on her progress.
