"I'm not 100 percent, but I'm getting close".

"But I know we won".

"We've been in a lot of those this year. But we've had a couple of games this year where we didn't rebound it well and we usually got beat or struggled during those games". So you live and you learn in situations like that. I think that's going to be big and not let them get easy opportunities at the basket. You obviously don't want to be - your dream is to win them comfortably. "I knew he was good as soon as he went down". "But whether they play slow or play fast, we've got to come out and play as hard as they do".

"I think he's extremely important to them and he fits into that constant motion of harassment, havoc kind of mentality that Mike tries to push. So we've gotta figure out somebody to play". "We have to do it as a team- the guards, the bigs too, everbody". A couple current players remember that season ending loss. "We've got to make sure that we don't turn the ball over".

The No. 8-seeded Arkansas Razorbacks (26-9) used a 15-3 run to end the game to pick up the first round victory over the No. 9-seeded Seton Hall Pirates (21-12) Friday afternoon 77-71 inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

Junior guard Jaylen Barford is averaging 17.1 points in the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville's past 10 games. The Tar Heels are ninth in scoring at 85.4 points per game. Arkansas is just as eager to play fast - even if that's a prospect that thrills the top-seeded Tar Heels.

The Razorbacks, on the other hand, benefitted from a late (and highly debated) flagrant foul call to top Seton Hall.

"We have to do it collectively", said senior Moses Kingsley.

Meeks first met Kingsley during the high school summer circuits and showcase camps four years ago. The Hogs then secured their spot by reaching the SEC Tournament final against Kentucky, where they lost, 82-65.

Therein lies the problem for the Razorbacks, who for all of that pressure, rank No. 94 nationally in defensive efficiency, largely because of an inability to force turnovers and rebound.

"We have no idea if Joel Berry, what his ankle's going to be like in another 30 hours or whatever it is, he's not going to practice today", Williams said Saturday. "If we do that (Sunday), we'll have a good shot of beating them again". This mixture of good health and depth allows Anderson to tinker with his lineups and offer versatile looks.

"It's huge to learn the tendencies quickly", North Carolina wing Theo Pinson said.

"I wanted to have confidence that I could get back out there if it was a championship game and just play the rest of the game, I felt like if I needed to stay back out there, I could've". While the storylines entering this game will focus on the similar up-tempo styles of these programs, UNC's dominance on the glass - the Tar Heels lead the nation in rebound margin (plus-13.1) and offensive rebounding percentage (42.2) - will serve as the most defining factor once the game tips.

Tipoff for Arkansas vs. UNC on Sunday will be determined at the conclusion of the second round games on Friday night. But perhaps the Tigers can draw some inspiration from Mount St. Mary's, which played a very competitive first half (they went into the locker room down by only one point) before giving way in the second. The win was Roy Williams's 32nd tournament win and the 750th of his career.

With the win, Arkansas moves to 20-11 all-time in NCAA Tournament openers and extends its streak of opening round wins to three.
