Mayor de Blasio will be questioned by federal prosecutors Friday morning as part of the wide-ranging investigation into his campaign fundraising, sources told The Post.

The meeting was voluntary and lasted four hours, a mayoral spokesman said.

NBC 4 NY first reported earlier this month that U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara's office had asked the mayor to come in and answer questions, and that de Blasio agreed, according to sources.

De Blasio, who agreed to speak voluntarily and without immunity to prosecutors, arrived at Kramer Lefin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, the firm of his defense lawyer Barry Berke, just after 9 a.m. The mayor has had extensive preparation this week ahead of the meeting.

De Blasio met with investigators from the Manhattan district attorney to answer questions relating to a grand jury probe on whether his political team broke the law by giving donations to county committees in an effort to flip control of the state senate to Democrats, Newsday wrote.

Mayor de Blasio will meet with federal prosecutors Friday in connection with their investigation into whether the mayor and his aides traded government favors for donations.

He used to be on the advisory board of the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York but is now is no longer serving on it.

The investigation has found two people with relationships to de Blasio that are of interest.

Mayor de Blasio will be accompanied by counsel at the interview.
