10 May 2017 will see the 22-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter will perform hits like 'Baby",'Where Are Ace Now", "Boyfriend', and "What Do You Mean?' at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

This Mumbai concert of Justin Bieber is supposed to be bigger than last November's Global Citizen Festival that featured Coldplay.

The tickets will start selling from 22 February, starting at Rs. 4000 and they are expected to sell within 24 hours of going online.

Bieber's Purpose World Tour is to celebrate his fourth album, Purpose, in which Bieber has experimented with electronic sounds. Goal is Justin Bieber's first album in two years.

Bieber's "Purpose World Tour" has already had its North America and Japan legs and will embark on a Europe and Asia leg later this year. "This tour is one of the most successful in the world at the moment and will further enhance India's current cultural repertoire".

"Justin will stage an extraordinary show propelled by state-of-the-art production; it will be of a magnitude that the country has not witnessed in a long time", according to a statement from Jain.

With more than 100 huge shows on the tour and close to a million ticket sales globally, there is no doubt that Bieber is at the top of his game with this tour. Justin will make his way to India as a part of his Purpose Tour in May. Objective is one of Bieber's most successful albums, with three number one singles - What do You Mean?

There is good news in store for Justin Bieber fans. The latter had also won a Grammy nomination. Beiber also recently broke the Beatles' 1964 record by topping the American Billboard 17 times.

Bieber's interest in performing in the country for the first time could very well be set off after Coldplay, Jay Z and other worldwide artists drove the crowds insane at the Global Citizen gig last November.
